  • Nav malfunctioning

    • Unable to correct. Transitioning between Drift & Standard nav often.
    • View outside is ... distorted
    • Something is flickering off in the distance
    • Gowena sees a stellar body (similar to a star) ... but its 'off'

  • The ghostly fighter-size things phase into our ship & board us!

  • We drop back to normal space. The ghost dudes are now zombie dudes.

  • Damage control shows scratches along the hull.

  • The Not-Star, a starlike object that is exhibiting gravity on us, is visible in normal space. It's not hot, though...wtf?

  • BACK TO THE DRIFT BABY.

    • Distortion throwing us between drift & normal is caused by waves of energy from the Not-Star

  • MORE BOARDERS.

  • Approaching the NotStar to get away from the whale.

    • There are THOUSANDS OF GHOST THINGS in the NotStar when in drift.

  • We get the fuck away from the NotStar

    • Whale gives up pursuit

• We keep one of the weird thinggies bodies

• The NotStar was once a star

  • Not sure what it is now
  • Signature related to the drift
  • Magical shit.
  • A major magical weapon/spell could have done this!

• We're able to reconstruct the message we saw earlier:
